Reservation Manager Primary Objective of Position:
To accurately receive and process guest reservations in accordance with Port Royal's standards Major Areas of Accountability 1.
Meets and exceeds guest and team member expectations by providing positive and courteous service and teamwork.
Provides value added service to guests by doing whatever reasonable and possible to meet or exceed guest expectations Communicates effectively with guests, supervisors and co-workers Demonstrates teamwork by cooperating and assisting co-workers as needed Handles difficult situations effectively Performs other duties as required to provide positive and courteous service and teamwork 2.
Ensures accuracy of reservations by receiving and processing customer reservations Greets guest over the phone in a friendly, courteous manner Records reservation information accurately; identifies and records group and transient business codes Notifies other departments of VIP arrivals Identifies commissionable reservations and secures required information Identifies and records special billing instructions Files all reservations in systemic order for easy referral 3.
Contributes to maximum occupancy of Port Royal by assisting in maintaining accurate rooms inventory control system Records requests for special accommodations 4.
Achieves maximum occupancy and average rate by demonstrating the effective utilization of Port Royal's room rates and promotional programs Utilizes appropriate suggestive selling techniques Adheres to rate control procedures based on availability and forecasted occupancy Informs supervisor of potential sell out dates so rate restrictions can be adhered to 5.
Adheres to Port Royal policies and procedures.
Attends work on the time as scheduled.
Follows Port Royal's grooming and dress standards.
Minimizes safety hazards by following all safety rules and procedures.

Keeps immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance.
7.
Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures to achieve the overall objectives of this position.

Maintains a favorable working relationship with all other company employees to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate.
9.
At all times projects a favorable image of Port Royal Homeowner Association to the public.
